A tall and heavy piece, I decided to brighten up this one with one of my custom blends of General Finishes milkpaint. I used Queenstown grey and Linen to create this light grey shade which I used all over the exterior. I the used General Finished pearl effects in Champagne over the drawers and the edges of the glass topped bureau. I added mouldings to the fold down top and also the drawers which were also painted in Pearl Effects. The interior was stained with a rich Walnut stain. 

This piece was actually painted in an entirely different color than it shows!  I thought I wanted to do a light grey but it didn't look right so I ordrered another color, Peppercorn from Wise Owl.  It was dry brushed with Limestone by Wise Owl.  I used a wash of limestone to created the highlights in the middle and around the doors. I then used the metallic acrylic multi surface folkart gold for the details. I sealed this piece in General Finishes High Performance Top Coat (all of my entries use this, it's AMAZING) - anyway,  I then added some black glaze that Wise Owl sent me as a sample.

This desk was definitely one of those pieces that lingered in my stash of furniture to refinish. Then I had a vision -- a versatile gray with blush floral paper. ❤️ I used General Finishes Queenstown Gray Milk Paint and General Finishes High Performance Topcoat on the body and drawers. I completed the look with updated hardware and pretty floral paper for the drawers. This created a timeless look that works for a variety of styles -- modern, farmhouse-inspired, etc.. I love how everything works together on this desk!

My clients found these great Pottery Barn Kids dressers for their daughter's bedroom but there was one problem. They had been very loved and were in desperate need of a facelift. The original white finish was in rough shape complete with bubbling tops. We gave them a gorgeous fresh look using General Finishes Seagull Gray Milk Paint and updated the knobs with stunning glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware. We added drawer liners to complete this sweet makeover! 

This vintage highboy was prepped with a sanding of 220 grit and a 50/50 denatured alcohol and water solution.  Driftwood gray milk paint applied with a brush. Slightly distressed. Next applied a coat of HPTC in Satin. Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects was added in a light and subtle application. Final coat of HPTC in Satin for a pretty sheen and increased durability. 

This mid-century lowboy had been in my workshop for a while. I kept looking at it, uninspired. It originally had battered round knobs and the veneered wooden top was in a bit of rough state. I actually prepped it and used Walnut Gel Stain. It didn't sing to me.

A few weeks later something hit me. I was in a complete frenzy of painting everything grey & had found these awesome shiny chrome handles in a sale the day before. There were only four left - it was fate.

We build this beautiful rustic farm table out of knotted pine. We then gave the bare wood a couple of heavy coats of General Finishes Linen milk paint. We laid out the design for our plank effects on the top of the table. We used a paint brush and General Finishes Gray gel stain wiping in one direction to get the top a rustic old wood look. We then used CeCe Caldwell's Kukui stain and finish to enhance the gray and to shade each section to give it the look of individual planks of wood. We then sanded while our stain was still sticky again dragging in one direction.

We have a new found love for these cabinets!  They're such versatile pieces, doors on , doors off, china cabinet, knick-knacks, linens, desk, and so on!  They can be used for just about anything and allow for so much storage.  This fabulous piece was refinished with 3 coats of Driftwood Milk Paint on the outside with Linen on the inside.  It was then sealed with 3 coats of HP Flat.    A truly stunning piece!

I love working on writing bureau's and despite the condition I got this one in, I was excited to give it a new lease of life. After fully stripping and priming, I used my own blend of General Finishes to create this light grey, and painted the whole exterior in it. I used gold gild to edge the drawers and also gilded the moulding which I added to the fold down. I restained the hardware in gold also to match. The interior was restained in Dark Walnut woodstain and I replaced the battered leather tooled top with a vibrant blue leather writing insert.

This project was started with a base coat of GF Linen milk paint . The base was then sanded in areas to give it a worn look. The bases was then then glazed. The top was finshed using a GF Jave Gel GF Antique walnut and GF Gray Gel stain pulling the three colors to together also to give the top a worn vintage look. The beautiful shine to the finishes is one of our favorite products GF High Performace top coat. Which adds a beautiful finish to this stunning piece

Beautifully reloved in Queenstown Gray for the exterior with a Halcyon Blue interior. These colors are magic together. Hard to get work done when all you want to do is look at this show piece.

She truly shines on her own found hidden in a garage her deep carvings of mahogany needed a few touches of gf Queenstown Gray, highlighted with copper, pearl effects sanded lightly with Gf high performance poly top coat. She is just that, The Queen. 

Updated version of denim technique using costal blue and sea gull gray milk paint. Distressed and glazed with van dyke brown glaze. 

This lovely china hutch got a makeover with General Finishes Milk Paint in Queenstown Gray, one of the most beautiful shades of gray I've ever used. We chose this color to compliment a painting the client has in her dining room, adding a pop of something lighter on the sides inside the cabinet.

I loved refinishing these end tables.  They turned out gorgeous!  I had a great canvas to work my magic.  I used General Finishes Milk Paint in Driftwood, the perfect gray for these tables.  I then added a black glaze to break up the color just a bit and to make the details on the drawers jump off the page.  The hardware was in great shape, just a little cleaning to shine them up.  I finally added High Performance Topcoat in Satin for the perfect amount of shine.  Fabric drawer liners completes the package.  I will be sad to see these go.  

This gorgeous shades of grey chest has recently been hand painted with care and high quality products, leaving it with an incredible depth and a silky smooth finish. This solid mahogany dresser was painted with layers of grey, then sealed with clear and black waxes to highlight details and create interest. Top was finished with High Perfromance Top Coat for additional protection. Original handles were cleaned and updated with black satin. The five dovetailed drawers all slide smoothly and will contain many treasured items. 

This antique Empire dresser turned island was given a new life using General Finishes products. The top was sanded down to bare wood, stained in two coats of Antique Walnut Gel Stain, and toppped with 5 smooth coats of High Performance in Semi-Gloss for a lusterous sheen. We chose smoky Driftwood Milk Paint to spray the body for a smooth professional finish in a neutral color perfect for most household kitchens. We chose High Performance Top Coat in Flat for a more matte finished look on the body that would withstand normal wear over the years.

Holy Canoli this beauty was a big one! I love how this turned out. I painted the out side of the china cabinet in a very light gray and did the lip and inside of the cabinet in candlelite gel stain!

This lovely hutch in shades of Gray fits right at home in your bathroom, holding your towels, or imagine it in your bedroom to hold all your shoes. Either way this hutch has it going on. Finished outside in Driftwood Gray with a Persian Blue interior.

Oh this writing desk.  What a lovely little...pain in my tush.  From the moment I brought it home, I knew its great lines were going to be a beast to uncover with 4 layers of paint.  I didn't know, however, how lovely it would be in the end.  

After pain-stakingly striping layer-after-layer off of this little writing desk, I uncovered a brilliant wood in the legs - and a less-than-attractive worn wood top.  It was then I decided: natural legs, painted top.  

This stunning 1930 Dresser and Mirror has been refinished in my custom made chalkpaint using Sherwin Williams Katabonic Winds. I then stained this set using French Roast Gel Stain.With a desire to coincide with the age of the piece I used a Black Antiquing Glaze.  To enhance the elegance of this amazing piece I added Silver leafing. This set was finally sealed  using General Finishes High Performance Top Coat to ensure a lasting finish!

This beauty's legs spoke to me the moment I saw her! She was in rough shape, and dull waiting for the moment she would be cherished again! 

I filled, sanded, and painted her up with a base of General Finishes Snow White, and layered on General Finishes Seagul Grey, distressed, and then finished with an antique glaze! 

I then added cement knobs to go with the Seagul grey. 

This was my first painting project ever. I love these matching tables- contrasting grays and silver accents. Original French provincial hardware. 

This set was done for friend who recently lost her grandmother. I love that she decided to keep it and pass it on to her little girl!

I used 1 coat of General Finishes Stain Blocker, 2 coats of General Finishes Seagull Gray and sealed it with 3 coats of High Performance Top Coat in Flat. I also slightly distressed it since it was going into a a little girls room. ;-) 

This petite antique hutch was given a beautiful makeover using all General Finishes products. We wanted a multi-toned look for this beauty and opted for a dreamy combination of Driftwood and Antique White Milk Paint paired with rich Antique Walnut Gel Stain for those gorgeous turned legs. The inside and legs were given a couple coats of High Performance Top Coat in Flat for added durability in those easy to scratch areas. 

This huge beast is now a beauty thanks to General Finishes Queenstown Gray. Sealed with hp tc in satin. 

This antique dresser was sanded down to reveal the beautiful wood drawer fronts; to highlight and accent those the body of the dresser was painted in a light gray, General Finishes Chalk Paint in Empire Gray. The original hardware was used again with a little Rub n' Buff in Spanish Copper added to darken them. This was also applied at the bottom of the front legs. A vintage floral contact paper lines the drawers. The whole dresser was then sealed in General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in Flat.

When Jennifer dropped off her desk she pulled out a page from an Ethan Allen catalog and I knew right then this was meant to be--.  Here is Jennifer's Ethan Allen inspired makeover.

The top was stained using a combination of General Finishes Water Based Weathered Gray Stain and Milk Paint Persimmon and Coral Crush. The base was hand painted in a custom Annie Sloan White and then antiqued using a custom mix of waxes.

This stunning 1930 Headboard and Footboard has been painted in my custom chalk paint mix using Sherwin WIlliams Katabonic Winds. I stained this set in French Roast and antique glazed it in black. To enhance the elegance I then added silver leaf. General Finishes High Performance Top Coat has been used to ensure many years of lasting durability!

I wanted something bright and beachy feeling... so I decided this little sofa table would be just that with a driftwood Inspired top. 

I sanded it down with 80 grit, and put a layer of General Finishes Snow White down. I then sand back with 320, then put down Seagul Grey, and sanded back for a drftwood effect. Then painted the base in General Finishes Snow White, and sealed with a gloss. 

First of all I had sanded it and filled the gouges and scratches with putty. When dry I've applied two coats of Milk Paint in Seagull Gray. Sealed it with Flat out Flat.

I decided the piece needed some more color to go along with plain gray and picked this cute wrapping paper with triangles. I laid the wrapping paper over each panel inside to get an idea of what size to cut it down to. 

This old bookshelf got a modern farmhouse face lift! I painted the outside and the shelves with 2 coats of General Finishes Driftwood, took of the backside of the original shelf and replaced with old reclaimed wood siding. The wood siding was dry brushed with General Finishes Snow White and the grey area of the bookshelf was sealed with 2 coats of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in Flat. 

This dresser was given a modern makeover using all General Finishes products. We wanted a more masculine look for this dated colonial dresser so chose Queenstown Grey Milk Paint for the body and base coat for the top. We then added a Driftwood Milk Paint wash and Pitch Black Glze Effects for added contrast and visual texture to make the top really pop! The body was given two coats of High Performance in Flat and the top was given 4 coats of High Performance in Semi-Gloss for a strong, lustrous finish. 

When a friend from 16 years ago in Virginia reached out to me to do her Mother's bedroom set she inherited my heart sank because I had to tell her I'm no longer in Virginia. When she responded , I know ..I'm going to ship them to you..I was speechless! Still speechless and honored is an understatement. 

I sent her multiple color swatches to look over before she picks Seagull Gray. The finish paired with Van Dyke Glaze was perfect. Still neutral and will be classic for so many years to come. 

I love to mix GF Milk paint to get a custom color. I used Driftwood & Seagull Gray to get this amazing Gray color. High Performance Tpocoat in Satin was used for lasting protection 

Introducing "The Gray Lady"❤️ One of my all time favorite pieces to date! Everything was cleaned and the old finish sanded off vanity top. Bed frame and vanity painted in Sherwin Williams with Webster's chalk paint powder added in the color Storm Clap. All pieces were then white washed using SW Dover White mixed with water applied with brush and wiped back with cloth leaving in crevices to enhance details. Vanity top was left in natural wood and coated with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat.

This beauty was in dire need of some love when I found it! Made molds to replace irreplaceable trim, and wooden ornate pulls. 

I painted a layer of General Finishes Queens Town Grey, then dry brushed Seagul Grey on. I distressed, then dry brushed Snow White on in areas. Sanded lightly, then added more Snow White into crevices. Finished off with a top coat of flat out flat.

This retro funky little unit has had new legs added by the previous owner and has been refinished in seagull grey on the doors and antique white on the frame. 

It's a versatile piece and can be used in a bathroom, bedroom or living room! I think the legs make this piece really stand out and I have loved doing something different with the triangle at the top! 

This was such a unique piece! It was in overall excellent condition for its age: solid, heavy, dovetailed drawers, bun feet, unique drawer labels and a charming mirror. It was refinished using General Finishes Driftwood, moderately distressed, and sealed with several coats of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat. Part of this was also stripped of the original finish, sanded, stained in General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain and sealed with Genera Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat. The interior of the top was also refinished and features a light.

A large dresser boasting 12 curved drawers has ample space for storage. This custom piece will be making its way to its forever home where it will be repurposed as a double vanity in a bathroom. The dresser was sprayed in a custom mix of gray paint - a 50/50 mix of Linen and Driftwood Milk Paint.

This gorgeous dresser/buffet is the entry way to my clients coastal home. She wanted something that resembled driftwood. After layering what seemed like 37 layers of grays, taupe, brown, black, and white, we ended up with an overall gray toned piece that is surely a show stopper! This regal French Provincial Buffet has been professionally refinished to reveal its allure. I used several colors and techniques on this classic piece including Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint's Limestone, Smokey Quartz and Robins Egg.   The Robin's Egg gives it a nice pop on the inside!

We'd bougt this piece knowing exactly what we were going to do! When we bough her she had no hardware and her rails were in disrepair! We gave her a good bathing then painted her in General Finishes Drift Wood, distressed her, painted her hardware in Matte Black then sealed her with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat with a Satin finish! This was a lovely, leggy, vintage buffet that desperatley needed refinished. Due to severe water damage the veneer on the entire top was removed, the top was cleaned, sanded, stained with General Finishes Java Gel and then sealed with several coats of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat for large term durability. The body of the buffet and the back-splash were refinished using General Finishes Driftwood, heavily distressed, and sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat. The original hardware was unaltered.

Well, because you can't mess up with General Finishes Milk Paint and with no clear plan, I painted the entire piece in Antique White,  I then dipped my brush in all 5 colors of paint, GF Driftwood, Seagull, Queenstown, Basil and Antique White, then painted away without totally blending to one solid color. I used a wet sanding sponge a lot to blend or distress paint. I then used Antique White as a glaze all over by wiping on and wiping off. I used Minwax Finishing Paste to protect and bring out a even richer look to the paint colors. 

For this vintage set I mixed mostly Seagull Gray paint by GF with a little of their Driftwood Milk paint added in to give it a nice Gray color. Cleaned & spray the original hardware black. Lightly wet distressed then added 2 coats of High Performance Top Coat in Satin. 

This solid desk was given new life using all GF products. Custom mix of Driftwood & Linen to achive the perfect Greige color. Sealed in High Performance Topcoat in Satin 

My client wanted a clean classic desk and this is what I came up wit. Its beautiful. I primed and painted the base and gel stained the top.

This modern hutch was painted with General Finishes Milk Paint in Driftwood. I added french provincial handles to this gorgeous hutch for a unique touch.

This mid-century nightstand was overwhelmed with a heavy brown stain that darkened to black on the edges and ponderous knobs. I sanded like crazy and took the whole thing down to bare wood. The top and edges were then waxed with Briwax paste wax, and the sides and drawer fronts painted in General Finishes Driftwood. Now it's fresh and modern and already has a new home!

This solid buffet was refinished in General Finishes Driftwood Milk Paint, lightly distressed on outer edges and sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat. The top and the middle drawers were stripped, sanded, stained using General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain and sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in flat. The drawers and shelves were lined with stripped paper. This measured approximately 54" x 19" x 35".

Lovely custom chest refinished in Queenstown Gray. I just can't get enough of this color! :) 

 I am in love with Grey...any shade of it.. I agree with Paul Klee who said: "For a painter Grey is the richest colour. The one that makes all the others speak." When I was working on interior design of my Home Grey was the leading  colour I choose for my furniture.  Than depending on seasons or my mood I add little home decors in different colors- like pillows or flower vases, candle holders -and let the colors speek. 

This beautiful Herendon cabinet was in much need of restoration.  It was lovingly finished with General Finishes 'Limestone' Chalk Style Paint and sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat for lasting durability.  White glaze and gold gilding wax were used to bring due attention to the elegant hardware and molding details. 

I have used General Finishes Queensland Gray Milk Paint on may projects but this one is special, for may reasons.  I love this deep, rich gray.  It really seems to elevate anything it touches.  I chose it for this  old antique oak dresser I picked up that looked as though it had been through The War.  To me it was a decidedly masculin piece and the oak took this color beautifully.  I pained the dresser in two coats of the Milk Paint and then lighty sanded the body to reveal the heavy grain than only oak has.

Classic nightstands brought up-to-date with a beautifully Java Gel stained top. The body is newly painted in classic Queenstown Gray Milk Paint. New crystal knobs give this pair a modern look. Sealed for protection with GF Flat on Flat topcoat. A modern, handsome look for any decor.

This young lady was picked up about 5 minutes from our home on the side of the curb! She was a lonely little gal until we gave her a new look! We hand painted her in Driftwood and Coral Crush milk paints, distressed her then gaver her a good coat of High Performance Top Coat in a Flat finish! Now she'll hold your "crown jewels" in style! We hope you love!

I found this gorgeous vintage dresser on the side of the road that was minutes away from being crushed and brought to the dump. I immediately knew it had so much potential and deserved a second chance at life.

Cute country endtable refinished in driftwood milk paint and reclaimed wood top

This adaptable storage piece has been uniquley finished with General Finishes Driftwood Milk paint and Pitch Black Glaze.

This beauty of a vanity was painted in Wise Owl Peppercorn.  The detailed areas were painted in a wash of Wise Owl Smokey Quartz and Wise Owl Gray LInen.  The piece was sealed with General Finishes High Performance Topcoat and then Waxed and stained to create the aged effect.  It was finished off with Wise Owl Lemon Verbena Furniture Salve.

This sweet sideboard was coated in nicotine and grime, which was hiding the  potential of her charm. After a thorough cleaning a custom mix of Driftwood Gray, Millstone and Seagull Gray completed the main body. The drawers were painted in Millstone and highlighted with a feathering of Van Dyke Brown glaze around the edges. The top, middle drawers and side accents were stained with gel stain in the color of Java. HP topcoat in satin sealed her beauty.

Come sit at this inviting desk set & get to work in comfortable style! This updated desk has a newly Java Gel stained top. The body of the desk and chair has been painted in Queeenstown Gray. All the surfaces have been sealed and protected with Flat on Flat topcoat. The matching chair ties it altogether with a cushion made from the Kelly Ripa Home Collection. Now who wouldn't want to sit and work at this desk?

I did a custom mix of greys to create this "khaki/neutral" color that my client wanted. I used 1 part Linen, 1 part Basil Green, 3 Parts Millstone and 1 part Driftwood. I applied 2 coats of this custom mix, then I added a thin layer of java glaze all over it.  After that I sanded it down with a 400 grit sandpaper and added 3 coats of High Performance Top Coat in Flat.

This sweet, little console table received a beautiful facelift and some sexy, new legs! The top of the table was sanded and painted using General Finishes Chalk Style Paint in Slate Gray. The legs were stripped, using Citristrip and then given a beautiful Walnut stain to bring out the rich color and grain. A crisp white knob was added as the finishing touch and the perfect contrast to the Slate Gray. The paint was sealed with a combination of clear and dark waxes.

This solid maple 7-drawer was found on the side of the road and given new life with Queenstown Gray.  We thought the hardware was brass but as it was cleaned, it turned out to be just plated so it got a hit of gold spray paint, but I wanted the aged look so I blotted on Van Dyke Glaze Effects with a paper towel to give the hardware some patina.  We love how the Queenstown Gray can take on a gray or a navy appearance depending on which paint color it's up against and in different lights. 

This beautiful old Empire dresser had amazing lines but some of the wood had seen better days. When that happens I work hard to at least showcase some of the beautiful original wood, and this had plenty of it. I cleaned all of the wood and went over the areas I felt were still in good condition with finish restore. I then applied GF Gel stain in Antique Walnut to those areas. I then taped off the good wood in a pleasing pattern with a masculine feel to match the piece. The rest of the area received several coats of GF Milk paint in Driftwood.

This stunning antique table was finished with General Finishes Empire Grey and High Performance Satin Top Coat, and the recesses darkened with Annie Sloan black wax. 

The top painted with a soft black, and also finished with HP satin top coat. Legs also aged with black wax. 

Simply Elegant....done in GF Seagull Grey and Antique White with High Performance Top Coat. Lovely details done with a dry brush of Antique White...

Elegant desk refinished in seagull gray with snow white accents. 

Wonderful antique bed converted into a stunning entry way bench. The original slats were sanded smooth and oiled to bring out the original warm glow. Finished with a warm glaze and inviting transfer.

My go to neutral!  Seagull gray is versatile, with its barely gray color, it matches and decor.  This cute little mini MCM dresser was updated in Seagull gray, flat out flat, and the original bowtie hardware were refreshed with Krylon gold spray. 

This now beautiful lady came into my welcoming hands needing lots of help.   She had peeling wood, missing hardware, but great bones.  Gray was the perfect color to bring her back to her original beauty.  General Finishes Java gel stain was used to finish the top and highlights to tie the piece together.  The stain and interior were all sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat.  The body was finished in Annie Sloan French Linen, clear and slightly dark waxed.

This vintage dresser turned farmhouse chic with Driftwood Gray milk paint, a touch of Van Dyke Brown glaze and HP Topcoat. The top was sanded down to its natural color and HP Topcoat applied. The knobs and pulls were lightly sanded and painted with Lamp Black milkpaint. 

This unassuming beauty brings subtle elegance to any surrounding.  Styled with General Finishes Chalk Style Paint in 'Limestone' and sealed with High Performance Top Coat for lasting endurance.  The classic 'column' details were gently enhanced with General Finishes Glaze effects in black and pewter gilding wax applied to original hardware to add to the subtle beauty.

This french country buffet was given several paint treatments.  The outside was painted in GF Seagull Gray, stenciled and dry brushed in GF Linen.  The top was painted in GF driftwood with a colorwash of Seagull Gray, and the inside was painted in Persian blue.  The entire piece was protected with High Performance Topcoat in Satin.  I added new hardware that I painted in pewter and I lined the drawers with coordinating fabric!  So cute!

This vintage dresser was painted with Behr Cracked Pepper made into chalk paint and distressed.  I followed that up with a rubbed on/rubbed off layer of Minwax Dark Walnut Stain to give it an aged look.  The original hardware was simply cleaned and the drawers were lined with a trendy arrow fabric from Hobby Lobby.  It was finished off with three coats of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat Flat.

Lovely hope chest refinished in seagull gray. It went from super dark and dreary to light and airy. 

Love this style my client picked put. I transformed this buffet into a wine rack, just popped out the center wood and inserted a wine rack! Used candelight gel stain for the top for a hint of red and a softy gray on the body. 

This was a custom request from a 13 year old girl.  Her mom was letting her pick her own colors for her new teenager bedroom.  She couldn't decide between gray and cream, so we did a little of both.  Frame painted in Seagull gray, top drawer painted in 50/50 mix of antique white and snow white.  Hardware painted in Seagull gray, with pitch black glaze effects applied to get and aged patina look.  Sealed with flat out flat.

This coffee table is a one of a kind statement piece for your home.  GF Java Gel Stain was used to create the deep brown of the tabletop.  It's a beautiful contrast to the natural wood and GF Seagul Gary applied to the body.  Clear glass knobs were added for a special touch.  

Magically beautiful is what this round table is. Reloved with Queenstown Gray on the body and Java gel on the top. The dark and mysterious body is lovingly finished out with a custom mixed wax with just enough Queenstown and the tiniest bit of silver to make this baby shine. 

Well this one was one of those, slathered in latex, broken drawers, loose glue joints, peeling/poorly repaired veneer, missing hardware etc. pieces.  "What were we thinking"!  Found on the side of the road, we were sure there was beauty waiting to be revealed.  We had no idea the work that would be involved and seriously considered burning it more than once.  After stripping and scraping all of the latex paint off the surface, this one required some pretty major repairs.  Of course by then, we had way too many hours into it to give up.

Vintage Waterfall Dresser Vanity in a stunning shade of Queenstown Gray, with pink and Coral accents.

I found this Drexel dresser at a church yard sale for $25 dollars and I knew it would look great with an updated finish! After being thoroughly prepped, the dresser was painted with Seagull Gray. Then to give it a beautiful aged look, I used Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. Lastly, the piece was coated in High Performance Top Coat in Flat. I gave the original hardware a fresh look with a rich dark bronze color. The result? A sweet and charming dresser!

One of my absolut favorite pieces! This color combo is to die for and I only wish I had a buffet this size of my own! 

This beautiful coffee table was painted in Driftwood Milk Paint by General Finishes.  To break up the solid color a bit I did a light paint wash over the entire table to add a little dimension.  It was looking a little blah so on top I put a grain sack stripe down the middle in General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint.  It came out better than I imagined.  Finally I added a cute little stencil to the inside of the door and of course some fabric drawer liners to complete the look.  

I spruced up this mid century sideboard with GF Seagull Gray and Flat Out Flat Top Coat.

This once boring bedroom suit has been reborn into a state of gray elegance using General Finishes Driftwood milk paint. We then took it one step further by applying a custom dark glaze and replaced the old knobs with complimenting oil-rubbed bronze hardware. The combination of these amazing products not only transformed the furniture, it transformed the space!

I bought this piece from my friend Anne and it was just a little dated so I decided to paint it in Generalfinishes Driftwood grey.  I distressed the paint and stained the top a beautiful, deep brown and used Generalfinishes High Performance Top Coat in Satin.

This butch pine cabinet required a much needed revamp, but with a difference to soften it's masculine look.

Hand-made clay moulds were created and applied to add detail to the drawers, top arch, sides and even the chunky door hinges. Once secured and the unit primed, the exterior was finished in the smouldering shade of Queenstown Gray Milk Paint. Winter White Glaze was dry brushed over the moulds to accentuate the detail in them and bring an elegant, feminine charm to the exterior. 

This knew this BIG beautiful empire dresser was going to be gray, and what better choice than Empire Gray Chalk Paint!

This antique hutch has layered shades of ombre'd grays - Queenstown, Driftwood, Seagull, & a custom Driftwood glaze. The inside was given a pop of color with Fusion Mineral Paint Little Teapot. This was sealed with High Performance Flat.

This pretty side table was totally out of date until it got a little loving from some fresh gray paint! After a good cleaning and sanding, I painted this piece in Seagull Gray Milk Paint then distressed for a handed down vibe. I sealed it with High Performance Top Coat in Satin. 

This turn of the century desk/vanity was updated with a light sanding and a couple of coats of a rich gray color.  It was paired with a vintage ladder back cane chair, painted in the same color.  Both items were then sealed in General Finishes High Performance Top Coat.  

Took a worn out dough boy coffee table and breathed some life back into this.  Used homemade chalk paint on teh body, GF Gay Gel Stain on the removalbe top, handles and sides and sealed all with GF High Performance Flat Topcoat

This Entryway Table is sure to make any entryway pop. Driftwood Milk Paint topped with Flat out Flat Topcoat just makes this piece so velvety delicous it should be a sin.

After joining the Upcyclers Club run by Aileen Hogan of Shabby.ie I am trying to think outside the box

This is the most daring piece I have done but also one of the most enjoyable. 

This table was pine and had a beautiful grain on the top however the rest of the table didn’t have it, so I choose driftwood grey to team up with the Java gel stain.  Two combinations I haven’t used before. 

Needless to say I love it.

Refinished in Driftwood and Antique Walnut. 

This nice changing table got a refreshed look with a sweet custom mix of Driftwood Gray & Antique White, sealed with High Performance Satin. 

Make a statement with this vintage desk painted in Queenstown Gray. The unique drawer pulls make this a one of a kind piece. The top is stained in Java Gel and all is sealed and protected with Flat HP topcoat. Pull up a seat to work at this desk with a matching chair painted in Queenstown Gray. The seat is covered with a Kelly Ripa Home Collection fabric. New life brought to this solid  vintage desk!

Bedroom set 

This charming round topped hutch is sure to make you smile. Its petite size fits right in anywhere. Its finished out with a beautiful coat of Driftwood Milk Paint. Its just waiting to be filled with cherished collectables.

This buffet was missing a lot of the bottom leg/trim area all around the bottom. I had to cut new pieces, use a lot of plastic wood filler and pin nails! I rebuilt the base and gave her a fresh coat of Seagull Gray. It's now a timeless piece that will last a lifetime! 

This was a super large piece to work on but I was thrilled to get my hands on an original Antique French Armoire. After being striped and primed, I created a custom blend light grey using Queenstown Grey and Linen milkpaint. I painted the entire piece in this and then sealed with High Performance Top Coat. The armoire had fabulous carvings throughout which I highlighted in gold gilding along the side columns, the top and central carvings and the glass dividers. 

Pine desk, I wanted this in a masculine finish so used GF Milk paint shades of Greys,  upcycled  a old vintage kitchen chair in tartan to go with it and sanded the top natural as a desk naturally will get a lot of use and this would prevent wear and tear on it.

Refinished using many GF products including Queenstown Gray. 

We created this industrial table with a faux barnwood finish using Java Gel Stain, with Key West Blue, Antique White, Driftwood, & Van Dyke Glaze Effects layered under High Performance Satin. 

This vintage game table was transformed using Queenstown Milk Paint.  A rich dark gray base was complimented with Pearl Effects on the leather inlay of the table creating a faux metal look for the top.  This piece is classic and beauitful and ready for a round of cards! 

Wardrobes can be quite imposing as they're quite big and bulky, I feel they should be made into a feature.  Beauty, functionality and a feature in your bedroom. 

We build this beautiful rustic farm table out of knotted pine. We then gave the bare wood a couple of heavy coats of General Finishes Linen milk paint. We laid out the design for our plank effects on the top of the table. We used a paint brush and General Finishes Gray gel stain wiping in one direction to get the top a rustic old wood look. We then used CeCe Caldwell's Kukui stain and finish to enhance the gray and to shade each section to give it the look of individual planks of wood. We then sanded while our stain was still sticky again dragging in one direction.

What a beauty!  This piece had great bones but was looking well used.  After some much needed prep work we decided to go with Seagull Gray on this one.  The whole piece received two coats of primer followed by 3 coats of Seagull Gray milk Paint.  We then glazed the whole piece in Pitch Black glaze effects and sealed it with 3 coats of HP Satin.  The top received a final coat of Enduro Poly in Black.
