This buffet has been painted in a color range of dark navy to pale blue, resembling a beautiful cloudless sky.
I started with Antique White milk paint at the bottom and Coastal Blue milk paint at the top. Then, with a damp brush and working quickly, I just blended the 2 colors together until I saw the "cloudless sky". I waited 2 days for the paint to completely dry since it was watered down, then applied High Performance Top Coat. The hardware was updated to a brushed nickel to complete the look.

After coming home from a trip to the beach, I was inspired to blend up a batch of General Finishes milk paints using all the wonderful blues and greens! This piece was finished completely with General Finishes products.
The dresser was painted using a custom blend of 1 part Patina Green, 2 parts Emerald, 2 parts Coastal Blue and 1 part Corinth Blue Milk Paints which created a wonderful peacock blue.

Here is a fabulous antique Dresser, refinished in a mix of coastal blue milk paint and pursion blue milk paint. I then re-stained the top and drawers in a beautiful cherry stain and sealed with clear gloss! To pull the piece together I added cute glass knobs!

For this teal I mixed four colors. Klein Blue, Emerald, Snow White, & Lamp Black. My sister and I had a couple glasses of wine the night we mixed it so I became more adventurist with using such a bright color! It has become a very requested color and a lot of other furniture artist have asked me for the recipe! I am happy to share! This finish was sprayed with an HVLP sprayer and top coated with GF HPTC Flat. Java Gel Stain is the top drawer color.

The base color for this Drexel Touraine set was a custom mix of GF 1 part Coastal Blue, 1 part Nantucket Green, & 1/2 part Summertime Blue, then washed with a Coastal Blue glaze. It is sealed with High Performance Satin.

This dated oak hutch top was begging for a dramatic transformation. The beautiful floral wallpaper was the design inspiration for this piece. I wanted a nice light gray color and since I had General Finishes Chalk Paint in Empire Gray and Milk Paint in Snow White on hand, I decided to mix the two. Some light distressing completed the body along with attaching some new Queen Anne style legs to support the large piece.

Looking for a smooth creamy color, look no furthur! Mix one part french vallia and one part seagull gray chalk style paint and you have the perfect neutral color! Smooth, creamy, and eleagent perfect for any project!

I had a little bit of Antique White left over, so i decided to try something new. I mixed it with some Patina Green and Boom!!!... "Aztek Blue" was created. I started with a base coat of Midnight Blue Chalk Style and let that mellow out for awhile, came back in and hit it with the ole 220 grit sanding pad just to smooth it out so my newly concocted "Aztek Blue" would glide right on.

Mixed up a little persimmon and snow white with a touch of brick red milk paints highlighted in glorious gold.
Credenza that stands out as a beautiful piece in any home. Looks like a buffet but it's a working piece in a home office.

I spruced up this dresser with a custom mix of GF Seagull Gray and Driftwood. I then applied winter white and then van dyke brown glaze effects, followed by GF HP Flat top coat.

This particular morning as I was sitting out on our porch at 6:30 enjoying the early morning light and my coffee I thought I might as well just go through my paint cabinet and see exactly what I had in that little rat hole:) I had recently accuried a small dresser that I really wanted a special color for. I started by picking these three General Finishes paints, two Chalk Paints and one Milk Paint and then I went and found a sheet of white paper. This is how I do it every single time. I just dip a fingertip in to one color and paint a small circle in that color on to the white paper.

This bored secretary got some sass wuth a custom mix of equal parts GF Coral Crush, Queenstown, & a 1/2 part Midnight Blue, glazed with Van Dyke Glaze Effects, sealed with High Performance Satin. The legs were darkened using Java Gel Stain.

I am in love with this color combination! I mixed 2 parts Bayberry Chalk Paint with 1 part Patina Green. It created this true green to paint this pressed back chair. It is a little darker than the photo shows; simply beautiful! This is a color I will use on lots of furniture in the future.

This was a piece I'd previously painted but it just wasn't selling and I'm a firm believer that if at first you don't succeed, try again! Pieces can be reinvented time and time again, no finish is forever.

General Finishes Milk Paint just isn't for furniture anymore! I tested the waters in revamping our little retro camper. The camper was first sanded, primed, and thoroughly cleaned. The whole camper has been painted with General Finishes Milk Paint inside and out. The color I am focusing on here is the teal color. This color was achieved by mixing two parts GF Persian Blue Milk Paint to one part Patina Green Milk Paint. The white was done in GF Snow White Milk Paint and the red stripe was a 50:50 ratio of GF Holiday Red and Brick Red Milk Paints.

This beautiful vintage buffet has so much character. A custom mix of Queenstown Gray and 1/2 part Lamp Black, creating the darkest gray, layered over Fusion Mineral Paint Ceramic Turquoise. It had been sealed with High Performance Satin.

This coffee table set oozes Farmhouse charm. Painted in a custom mix of General Finishes Driftwood and Millstone milkpaint. This color is a fantastic neutral and is quite a chameleon of sorts. In darker lighting, it lends itself as more of a cooler grey. On a sunny day or an area with more natural light, it will have more of a warmer beige tone to it. It truly is the perfect "greige" in my book!

Custom mix of Charleton Blue and Bone White Chalk Paint with Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects to match a clients interior decor. She has wanted a piece I had done in Stillwater blue but it wasn't going to work for the turquoise undertones in her room. I worked with a swatch of her wall color to come up with this color as a complement. The top and exposed drawers were white washed with grey stain and wax mixed with bone white and grey paint. New oil rubbed bronze hardware.

What a statement piece this turned out to be! This piece was brought to us by a client to go in her newly renovated bedroom. We needed something that would compliment the white shiplap walls with the dark floors and white bedding. After many color mixing sessions we finally decided on a 2:1 ratio of Fjord Blue and Chalk White Chalk Style Paints. After 3 coats of the custom color mix was applied we highlighted all the detail in Snow White glaze effects and sealed the whole thing in 3 coats of HP Flat. We also did a King size bed to complete the room!

My customer wanted a girly glam hot pink dresser for her daughter's room. To transform this this traditional French Provincial dresser, GF Milk Paint in Holiday Red was mixed with GF Milk Paint in Antique White to create this gorgeous pop of pink deep pink and sealed it with GF High Performance Satin Topcoat. The gold hardware added for the final touch of glam to complete the look. We were all thrilled with the results, and her daughter loves having this super fun "Pretty in Pink" dresser in her big girl bedroom.

After sanding and cleaning the old finish and dirt from this sideboard, the colour of the wood screamed "southwest " to me. I tried blending a variety of different colours and different paint brands. The only one that reminded me of Santa Fe was 3 parts Klein and 1 part Persian blue. I lightly applied several coats of the mix only to find it was a beautiful blue but wasn't quite right. I heavily sanded the sideboard and accented it with Patina green to give it the depth of Santa Fe turquoise.

Our client wanted a desk that was all her own. She loves color and wanted a bright pink that couldn't be found on the store shelf. We used a custom mix of 10 parts Holiday Red and 2 parts Snow White. The results were stunning and have come to be known as our custom mix "Sidberry Pink", named after our client. Its now become one of our top requests! We painted the entire desk and chair in Sidberry Pink, sprayed the hardware gold and topcoated with Minwax Polycrylic in Satin.

This adorable cabinet was given a Farmhouse facelift! Painted in a custom mix of General Finishes Driftwood and Millstone milkpaints. This custom color is was one of my more popular color combinations this year. In a brighter room with more natural light, the color takes on a warm, beige tone. In darker spaces, it lends itself to more of a cooler grey. In my book, it is the perfect "greige". The original pulls were replaced with new cast iron ones that have an incredible Farmhouse feel.

This round and retro bedside table was a truly amazing garage sale find! In order to create this soft, elegant and modern "after" look we mixed 3 parts Persian Blue, 4 parts Seagull Gray and 1 part Antique White - all General Finishes paint. For the top, we used General Finishes Java Gel Stain to give this piece beautiful contrast. General Finishes High Performance Top Coat was used to seal and protect. Feet were added to the piece to give it some extra height and there were no changes needed to the hardware - we love to keep as much of the original look as possible!

This console table was on it's way to to the donation drop off but then we got another idea. Inspired by other mixing lab innovations we combined a secret ratio of GF Lamp Black and Klein Blue to make a color we call...Mystic Seaport Blue. The blue was glazed in GF Pitch Black.
The top was stained with GF Pecan, and glazed in GF Van Dyke Brown.
After 4 coats of GF High Perfomance Satin, the whole project was rubbed out with GF Satin Wax and a very fine sanding pad.

This poor dresser had been passed up by everyone because it was missing two of its drawers. I decided to cut out the support piece on the bottom to make it one whole open cubby and I lined the inside in reclaimed barnwood. I really wanted to make this a stately piece so I mixed 1 part General Finishes Milk Paint in Emerald Green and 1 part General Finishes Milk Paint in Costal Blue. The final product is this amazingly deep, rich green color that really stands out in a room. We finished off the look with hammered brass drawer pulls and who doesn't love a globe or two?!?
By Dutch Girl Cottage
Updated and up cycled a mid century modern none draw dresser. The drawers, heavy in laquer, were stripped and stained with a rich dark walnut stain. Then top coated with General Finishes product. The body of the dresser was painted with a 50/50 mix of lamp black and driftwood which created a beautiful rich dark gray! The tired hardware was given a splash of gold spray paint. Going to be used as a media cabinet.

When I first laid eye on this dresser -- I knew it needed a BOLD color. Usually my bold color choice is yellow, but I wanted to try something different so I created a grass green color using General Finishes Lime Green and Coastal Blue Milk Paint. I mixed 3 parts General Finishes Lime Green to 1.5 parts Coastal Blue. The dresser was sealed with my favorite dealer, General Finishes Flat Out Flat Topcoat. I loved how it turned out -- I can't wait to use it again! ❤️

This vintage dresser had, count 'em, 7 different colors of paint on it so I completely stripped it down to give a beautiful, fresh, smooth finish. We mixed 4 parts General Finishes Chalk White with 2 parts General Finishes Patina Green and 1 part General Finishes Costal Blue. I painted the whole dresser in Chalk White first and then did two coats of the new custom color and distressed the paint to show the white threw it. Love this mint green dresser for a beautiful pop of color in any home.

Made with custom blend of Coastal Blue, Somerset Yellow and just a hint of lamp black, this shade of teal reminds me of the Mediterranean. The white "sails" are the boats on the sea (painted in Antique White). Top coated with High Performance Top Coat
Wood was done in Gel Stain Candlelight. Top coated with Gel Topcoat.

We didn't know what gender our newborn would be when designing the nursery, so our dresser/changing table combo needed to be the perfect color! I mixed up a great teal using Klein blue, sunglow, and a hint of snow white.

I wanted the perfect shade of soft purple with just a little grey undertone. So with a little experimenting, I give you perfectly purple. 1 part Royal Purple 1 part Seagull Grey and 3 parts Antique white.

This piece was inspired by a photo I saw in Southern Living magazine of a beautifully decorated master bedroom that incorporated the colors of emerald and blush. Using General Finishes Milk Paint I mixed two custom colors to create this look inspired by the photo. The dark emerald green was mixed using one part Emerald Milk Paint and one part Lamp Black Milk Paint.

This french provincial dresser makes a great addition to a colorful child's bedroom!
The dresser had some chipping paint, so before painting I first refinished the top. I sanded the top to remove all the old paint. Then I stained it a warm brown and sealed it with three coats of satin polyurethane.
I painted this dresser a pale blue using a custom mix of general finishes milk paints. I used 4 parts Snow White and 1 part Persian Blue to get this beautiful blue that reminds me of the sky in the summertime. The hardware was updated with some oil rubbed bronze spray paint.

We have been trying to create this color since we started painting 2 years ago and after many failed attempts we finally feel like we have "The Perfect Turquoise."
This color is made up of 4 parts Snow White milk paint, 1/2 part Patina Green milk paint, and 1/4 part sunglow milk paint.
The dresser is made by American of Martinsville and is the perfect piece to showcase the beauty of this color. The top is stained in Antique Walnut gel stain, the body painted in our custom blend of milk paints, and the details are glazed using Van Dyke Brown glaze effects.

This Blue hombre dresser was made by painting the body with Snow White Milk paint, then gradually adding Chalk White to Ford Blue Chalk Paint. The effect is perfect with a gradual fade that inspires.

I was running low on Summertime Blue ,so I mixed what i had left with Charleton Blue & Stillwater Blue. I loved the shade of blue
that it made . I sanded down the top to Java Gel, & sanded the shine off of the rest. Painted the entire chest the "new" blue.
I put the enlarged Image transfer onto the drawers, once good and dry ,I glazed the drawers with G.F.Pitch Black Glaze to give it a faded
shadowy effect.
For protection I used 1 coat of G.F. high perfomance in gloss & 2 coats of G.F. high performance in flat.

Found on the side of the road, this Garrison hutch had seen better days. From someone's treasured addition to their dining room in the 1960's, to a disguarded and forgotten piece of rubbish, this hutch had seen, and been, it all. But behind all the scratches, the chipped veneer, and the bleak-looking finish, it was still a strong, sturdy and quality piece of furniture. I knew I couldn't leave it behind.

The Boho chic chest everyone has been going crazy over.
When I painted this, I had NO idea the amount of attention this piece would get! Being shared by multiple famous designers, getting thousands of likes, comments, and shares on Facebook, etc. and everyone asking what paint I used.
WHAT IS THAT PINK COLOR?!?!! Well I mixed 2 parts Royal Purple, 3 parts Coral Crush, a splash of Corinth Blue and a tiny bit of Klein Blue Milk Paint.
By Bethany Shmyr, Owner at FourLeaf Furniture in Sparks, NV.
This dresser was a rescue on the side of the road. I couldn't believe someone would get rid of a solid wood dresser! This hombre look was created using GF Coral Crush milk paint as the deepest color, then adding an increasing 1/4 part Snow White milk paint to the coral to achieve the color pallet. Fresh white knobs and a fun floral patterned lines the drawers. These colors made me happy.

Sometimes at Infinity Finishes we get a chance to reinvent ourselves with a really fun project. These treasure boxes were created from various shapes of shipping crates. We started with one our favorite colors 'Stillwater Blue' for the biggest component of our interchangeable wall unit.

I love the color I created for this Bench. It's the same color as vintage Jadeite dishes. to create the color I used 9 parts General Finishes Snow White Milk Paint, one part General Finishes Emerald Green Milk Paint and one part General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint. I wet distresssed the bench and sealed it with one coat of General Finishes High Performance Satin Top Coat. I watered down my General Finishes Black glaze and applied it with a wet sponge.
