Winning Category

We took this 70's style desk for a client that her mom used for years as her sewing .  She wanted to give it new love and purpose.  We painted it in Antique White, we finished off the top with Java gel. We then added new hardware to give it a more updated look.

We took this cupboard and gave it a new look, We painted it Antique White and used Java gel on the shelves. We then added legs to it to give it a new look for the bathroom for our client.

Blue/Black dresser

This dresser was used and abused, We got her ready for a fresh new look, We started with a great mix of Coastal Blue and Lamp Black.  2 parts Coastal Blue and 1 part Lamp Black. We took the great hardware that was orgianal to the dresser and took rub and buff in gold. For the top of the dresser we prepped her for a Java gel . We finished it off with a satin poly.

Hutch with added flair of french!

Took this Hutch for a customer who wanted it updated, it was her moms and was not being used. she wanted to use it for her wine and wine glasses but wanted a little flair to it!  We started with Antique White, we then did a wet and dry brush technique to it  with Seagull Gray.  We then painted the inside of it with Antique white and added our stencils.

loving some lime green

Took this small plain dresser to a bright and happy color.  We used General Finishes Lime Green, we then Stenciled with General finishes Snow White to the drawers to give it some added interested and added some new blingy pulls.

Red Buffet

We made this buffet shine with Tuscan Red.  We finished the top with dark walnut and poly and  We then finished with dark and white wax over the the tuscan Red. We completed with the orginal hardware .

classic update

Updated this old dresser for a little girl. using Snow white.  We then pinstriped bottom drawers with a gray. and sealed with High  Profomace finish. Added new hardware.

java gel jive

We updated this dresser with Tuscan Red  and java gel .   We painted two coats  of Red and them added the java gel over the paint to give it a more cherrywood feel. We took out the old shutter insert on the door and added a metal feature. added new hardware .

Centery Farm/Farmhouse update

We Updated our Farmhouse Cabinets, when we moved to the family farm in 2013, it had the classic oak cabinets, the last time the kitchen was update which was in 1970.  It was time to make this Centery farm and farmhouse Ours!    We chose Queentown Gray and Pitch Black Glaze. We painted the base of the cabinterywith the queenstown and then sealed them.  On the doors we painted queenstown gray and then  did a dry glaze technique to the doors to give it depth and interested. This farmhouse is now more in style and we are loving the updated look without the huge expense of remodling.!

New use for a desk

We repuposed this desk into a kitchen island.  First we stripped the top of the orginal paint, we then sanded it down to a  nice smooth finish, and then started with Java gel, after several coats to achieve the depth of color we wanted we then finished with several coats of stain poly.  We then painted base with antique white and sealed with poly.  WE added a bottom shelf for storage that was stained with a dark walnut, we then added large casters wheels .  It fits perfect into our farmhouse. we have given new life to an old piece.
