Vintage Cherry Dresser with Wooden Top and Queenstown Gray Finish

By Virginia Aiello, Co-Owner and Furniture Designer at Two Old Souls in Wake Forest, NC.

Queenstown Gray steals the show on this vintage dresser.  The dresser top was sanded down to reveal raw wood.  Varathane wood stain in Cognac brought out the red tones in the cherry, while General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain toned down the red and gave a rich brown tone to coordinate perfectly with the medium gray paint.  The top was sealed with Satin Arm-R-Seal while the base received 3 coats of Satin High Performance Topcoat, providing a flawless, glassy smooth finish.
