This is a Pistachio bowl with black epoxy inlay . The finish used on this piece is deft sanding sealer and deft lacquer. I sanded between coats with 400 grit . It has 2 coats of sanding sealer and 4 coats of lacquer. I'm pleased with the wood colors and contrast .

Mesquite burl hollow form

This is a Mesquite burl hollow form that is 9" wide by 7" tall. The finish used is General finishes Seal A Cell base coat and followed by Arm R Seal gloss finish . I'm pleased with these two products . They work so well together. This is one of my favorite pieces.

This is a large mesquite bowl with bisbee blue turquoise and morenci copper inlay . It measures 11 3/4 inches across and 8 inches tall I started with the bowl being sanded to 400 grit . Then I wiped it down with a tack rag . Once it is dust free , I sprayed a thin coat of deft sanding sealer to the bowl . It dryed in 30 min . I sanded with 400 grit between coats Until the desired smoothness is aquired . Then it is wiped with a tack rag . I then spray a coat of deft gloss lacquer over the sanding sealer . I apply 4 coats as a minimum of coats and more as needed.
