I saw this little drop-leaf table sitting outside in the weather at one of our local Habitat ReStores. It was in pretty sad shape but it was a pretty little table and I thought that if I could bring out the beauty that was hiding in it, I would give it to my son and his bride-to-be as a wedding gift. So, I purchased the table for only $10, brought it home, stripped the top, sanded, applied several coats of stain, painted the table apron and legs, applied the burnt umber glaze and the sealed all exposed surfaces with 3 coats of GF High Performance Semi-gloss polyacrylic.
