Dreamy Driftwood Desk

By Melissa Flippin, Owner/Artist at Flippotential Custom Finishes in Wheelock, TX.

This vintage desk was sanded to the bare wood on the top. I then applied General Finishes Gra yGel stain.

The body and drawers were painted with two coats of General Finishes Driftwood milk paint. Then the drawer fronts were washed with Annie Sloan Paris Gray Chalk Paint.

A raised stencil was created on the drawer fronts with Artisan Enhancements VP Antico.

Using the same stencil, a design was painted on the top of the desk using GF Snow White milk paint.

The  entire project was sealed with GF High Performance Top Coat Satin.
