While attending my first woodworking convention, I came in to contact with the owner of a veneer company and he gave me a veneer blank that was the perfect size for a pen. He told me to make something beautiful with it and send him a picture of the final project and I did just that this past week. It was my first time turning veneer and my first time inscribing writing on a project so small.
