General Finishes

Once a statement piece in its glory days, this iconic, mid-century Brasilia dresser by Broyhill had been stripped of its dignity with purple knobs and Disney stickers. Nearly unrecognizable, this piece was saved and retored to its former beauty with a renewed finish using General Finishes water based Wood Stain in Walnut.  After a thorough cleaning including adhesive removal, the Walnut wood stain was applied over the existing finish using a sponge brush and a damp cloth for excess removal.  General FInishes High Performance Top coat in Flat was applied to protect the finish.  Original hardware was located and installed completing the look of this iconic design.
