Stay in Lime

By Victoria L. at The Harlequin Chest in Apopka, FL.

This late-1800s Victorian era oak commode is a great pop of color for a sun room, guest room or bathroom. It was primed with a gray-tinted, oil-based primer and painted with GF Chalk White. Smatterings of homemade chalk paint in SW Calypso were applied on the edges to pop through when the top layers were wet distressed. Lots of yellow Frog Tape was used to get the crisp SW Stay in Lime green stripes. Finally, it was sealed with GF Satin HPTC. Pink satin ribbon and hanging mason jars completed the look.
