After being dressed in honey oak for over 40 years, Sissy's Buffet was ready for a little glamour. Following a good cleaning, I painted her with GF Driftwood Milk Paint. She looked better already but was screaming for a little "bling" to make her feel young and fresh again. I mixed some GF High Performance Top Coat with a splash of Argentine and Bronze Pearl Effects and gave her a coat. Boy, did she shine! Wanting her true character to be seen, I then glazed her first with GF Java Gel Stain and after that dried with Min-Wax Black Stain. She was finished with three coats of GF High Performance Top Coat. Adding the glass knobs was the final touch to make her feel like the special lady she is!
