This $3.00 Goodwill Nightstand was transformed into a dog house fit for a KING!
The paint of choice was the Glidden Premium Exterior Paint in Dark Navy with a satin finish. It is the most beautiful BLUE you've ever seen! I used a roller brush to apply the paint evenly and a 1/4 bristle brush to get to the nooks and crannies. Then I used three coats of the Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Enamel to seal. To give it that cottage feel, I lined the inside with plywood but not before I stained it with Minwax's Sedona Red #222. The red really popped against the deep, navy blue. It would fit right in on a snowy mountain!
