General Finishes

This fabulous tall writing bureau needed a update with a bright but classical feel. After being stripped and primed, I painted the whole bureau in a custom blend to create a light grey. The interior was stained with antique oak. I then stenciled the drawers with Argentine pearl using a floral and leaf motif. The edges were also highlighted using Argentine pearl. The whole piece was then sealed using High Performance Top Coat and the hardware shined up in silver using Solver Rub N buff. I added a moulding to the drop leaf, painted it in Argentine pearl, and this fabulous tall lady was ready for her new life.
