This 90s hutch has been given a warm rustic farmhouse appeal. Removing the doors giving it the popular open hutch look was a start. The backdrop was covered with textured wallpaper in a tin tile pattern and dry brushed with the same green as on the body. Its warm green color was enhanced with layers of taupe, grey and white undertones .The texture created with the paint allowed the black wax to adhere nicely adding to the rustic appeal . its lightly stained buffet top was given a rich darker tone to enhance the entire look. Finally a Rust finished hardware made the project complete .
