General Finishes

I was all about color for this buffet.  I wanted something fresh and bright; so I chose gorgeous buttermilk yellow.  The front three drawers I knew I wanted to decoupage, I just needed the perfect paper.  The black background with colorful flowers fit the bill.  I think it complements the yellow buffet perfectly.  Now for the details.  I added a fun stencil to the inside door as a surprise when they are opened.  I decided to keep the inside in its natural state, however instead of taping off in a straight line I did a little geometric design in the storage areas.  Finally I added some fabric drawer liners.  I think little details takes the piece to the next level.
