With all of the details on this coffee table I knew I wanted to do something with lots of layers. First I painted the base in Driftwood Gray, a nice medium gray color. Next I added a topcoat preparing it for the glaze. I used pitch black glaze effects to get in all the little areas and make them pop. For the final step I used the Argentine Pearl Effects along with the pitch black glaze to layer a texture on the entire piece. I used a short stubby brush to pounce the products on the coffee table, using a clean rag to take off excess. I love how the finished piece came out.
