General Finishes

This piece was looking sad sitting in a thrift store, but I couldn’t resist the cute, short tapered legs and it had potential for some great storage!  I added shelves inside each cabinet (they used to hold some sort of vintage filing system) and a shelf across the bottom center.  I painted the base in Snow White by General Finishes and sealed it in a semi gloss top coat by Wise Owl Paint.  I sanded down the top to show off the natural wood and then sealed it with Lemon Verbena Furniture Salve also by Wise Owl Paint.  To finish it off I added gold pulls from Target.  I had so much fun trasforming this piece!
