General Finishes

The presented secretary was made in 1914, probably in Sweden. Renovation of wooden surfaces was made using Varnish Walnut. I used a combination of General Finishes Milk Paint Patina Green (90ml) and Klein Blue (70ml) for colorful styling. Drawer interiors were painted with General Finishes Milk Paint Halcyon Blue. For gilding elements I used old gold acrylic paint, gilding metal leaves. Patterns on the fronts I made using a HagArt template and Heavy Body Gel - glossy pentart, reliefs using Pebeo Mixtion relief, Pebeo Mirror effect leaves, all above were secured with Gilding Lustrina Varnish.  Everything aged at: Pentart antique paste, Pentart Patina liquid and Amsterdam Antique brown patina.
