Modern Baby, Modern Love, Modern but Vintage. This darling Bassett Dresser spent 2 years on its end in my garage. It was brown, covered in grime and I had absolutey no vision for it. Thrifting one day I came upon three stuffed Lamas and they became my inspiration. First the lamas, then the rug, The colorful banner and finally the dresser. The perfect Modern Baby Nursery Dresser. Yes, this is a bit backwards but it worked.
After a good sanding I prepped with general Finishes Stain Blocker. It’s never failed me when using white paint. The body is finished with General Finishes Snow White Milk Paint. After sanding the top down I discovered gorgeous color and grain. I simple sealed it with General Finishes HPTC
