Marbled Barnwood Countertops

By Jessica Gilbert/Deb Alexander, Owners at Boutique Unique in Glasgow, KY.

These countertops went from drab white laminate to a fantastic marbled barnwood look! These cabinets are STILL laminate, just covered in beautiful GF products! We used Millstone Milk Paint as a base color, then we used Winter White Glaze, Pitch Black Glaze, Van Dyke Brown Glaze and a custom mixed Gray Glaze (1 part Driftwood : 2 parts Clear Base Glaze) and a spray bottle of water to give the marbling effect. Once they were perfect, we topped with three coats of Arm-R-Seal and they amended beautifully!
