General Finishes

This little table, purchased at auction, came with a chair.  It was so sad and looked like it could walk off on those slanted legs.  I started by cleaning, sanding it to bare wood, cleaning again and removing the legs.  Kilz premium primer was applied to the legs, front, sides and drawers.  The legs, front, sides and drawers then received three coats of GF Snow White, while sanding with 220 finishing pad between coats.  Two coats of GF Lamp Black were applied to the top and bottom, sanding between coats.  Every part of the table that was Snow White was then glazed with GF Pitch Black glaze.  The outside of the drawers are painted with GF Snow White and stenciled with lace fabric.  The inside of the drawers are painted with GF Copper Pearl Effects and glazed with GF Pitch Black glaze.  The entire table and drawers were finished with 3 coats of GF High Performance Top Coat.  The legs position was changed to straight and hardware replaced with new glass knobs.
