General Finishes

The original top was scratched and faded, so we restored using several colors of stain. Body was sanded bare, stained General Finishes Antique Walnut, Mahogany and New Oak to get the color combination that best matched the original color. Drawer fronts also stained a combination of General Finishes Antique Walnut, Mahogany and New Oak, to restore the pieces brilliant contrasting colors. The piece was then sealed with Miniwax’s wipe-on polyurethane in satin. Pulls were cleaned and treated with rub and buff.
