Gray Grandeur Bureau

By Karen Oshaughnessy Emporium K, Wicklow Ireland, Owner at Emporium K at Emporium K in Dunlavin, WW, IE

This beautiful tall antique writing bureau was looking for a new fresh life and look. I began by stripping it and then priming. Following this I painted it in a custom blend of Queenstown Grey and linen to create a light grey. I added a moulding to the drop leaf and highlighted this with burnished pearl. I also used burnished pearl to the edges and raised areas of the bureau. The interiors were treated to an update using GF Antique oak. I finished it with sealing it using High Performance Top Coat. Her grandeur was finished and was she was ready for her new life.
