This was a fairly formal piece of furniture In his previous life, but no longer. Elmer was a project that evolved and evolved with each layer. I began with no plan and by the end, I was smitten and Elmer had won my heart. Probably one of my most favorite pieces that I have done and wished I had kept. Hope you love him too.

Color Recipe
- Base layer in Old White and then a layer of Coco. The Coco was sanded, rubbed back and wiped. Graphite wash was then added and straight on with Dark wax. Detailed with black wax too
