This depression era dresser had a major case of bubbling veneer and a heavily lacuqered finish. I removed the damaged veneer on the top with a heat gun and now it's been refinished using a fabulous "driftwood" combination of General Finishes' Java Gel Stain, Gray Gel Stain, Winter White Glaze, and HP Topcoat in Satin. The base has been painted in GF's Driftwood Milk Paint and the accents were highlighted with white wax. This winning combination of gray products gave this sad and dark dresser a new "gray" lease on life!
