Copper washed Teal with Ebony

By Candace Stuckey, Owner/Artist at Casually Southern in Hartsville, SC.

Found this treasure at a resale store and had a vision for a metallic finish. Dixie Belle Peacock was the base coat applied with a brush in even strokes. Bunker Hill Blue and Daisy were applied to edges and corners with a painters putty knife and blended with Peacock Blue. Copper patina paint applied and sprayed with blue patina spray. Wiped with a damp cloth and more Peacock applied in sporadic places. Copper patina brushed on and wiped off with a damp cloth to allow copper paint to settle into the grooves. Top stained with Ebony Rustoleum stain, and HPTC in Satin applied from General Finishes.
