General Finishes

This battered steam trunk instantly inspired me. It was begging for texture. I used a base coat of dixie belle's stormy seas with valspar crackling agent. I then used a putty knife to smear on plum crazy and cotton. I used my chip brush to dab on Aegean coral. I smeared on bronze patina paint and painted the metal hardware with copper paint. I sprayed blue, green, and electric blue activators. After it had set for 24 hrs, I then stenciled on [re]design with prima s upcoming stencil in French Damask and Madelia Garden with their new crackling texture paste in white and gold. Sealed with spray on varathane. Easy peasy ;-) My dogs insisted on being models.
