The piece was pretty when we found it but I knew with the right faux finishing techniques, it could be so much more!
This beauty was painted in General Finishes Milk Paint in Basil to create a solid base, then I used Antique White to lightly dry brush the details to emphasize the carvings... but it still wasn’t enough! Pitch Black Glaze was then used to strategically create deeper shadows and ALOT more dimension in the piece. This multi layered approach has drastically enhanced the existing details and created an incredible luxurious accent table!
