Proof of what a little TLC can do! This table was in a sad shape but now with a little tender loving care.....and paint....and patience, she is a showstopper!
After cleaning her well and sanding, a few missing pieces had to be created using the hot glue gun method with wood putty. Her "shoes" and hardware were removed and polished up while she was getting her makeover. Painted in Wise Owl Antique Villa and Minwax Java stain applied to the top. Once dried well, she received a couple of coats of GF HPTC Flat to keep her looking pretty for years. just a touch of Valspar Antiquing Glaze was used in her details and then another coat of HPTC. The drawer was lined with decorative paper also. Her "shoes" and hardware were replaced and voila!!!! She's a stunner!!!
