Jewelry Armoire

By Karie Bogart, Flipping Fabulous Salina, Co-Owner at Flipping Fabulous Salina in Salina, KS.

Sometimes I try to make my pieces too perfect, and I end up frustrated, with a mediocre piece. This jewelry armoire was a great example of that.

My solution? Get out the orbital sander. Then pick a few cute decor items and drive around until I find the perfect wall to put it in front of. I'm sure people think I'm nuts, standing across the street from one of the jankiest bars in town because I have this vision in my head of that poorly painted purple wall.

Annnddd... I can't stop looking at this picture because it makes me happy. With a base of General Finishes Antique White, and a top layer of Patina Green and Lush•Paint Peacock, with peeks of the natural finish showing through. I used my Zibra Paint Triangle Brush, & it is sealed with Fiddes USA Light Wax.
