One of my favorite "marriages", finding the perfect chairs to go with this huge antique refectory table was a match made in heaven! The table top was totally refinished in Java Gel Stain. The gorgeous table base was painted in Lamp Black and distressed to reveal the detailing. The chairs (a separate "find"), proved to be the perfect fit with the table. They were also painted and distressed in black with stained seat bottoms to match the table. Table and chairs were top coated for additional protection.
