I have been refurbishing and refinishing furniture, off and on, for over forty years! I began by refinishing a Duncan Phyfe style table when I was 21, some 40 odd years ago, and the rest is history for me! My first love is refinishing, but I've grown to love painting furniture as well and giving it a new, more updated lease on life. I discovered General Finishes products three years ago and they are at the top of my list for best paint and stains, plus I love the topcoats!
By day, I work for a Silicon Valley software company but by evening, nights and weekend I refurbish furniture! I'm also the mother of three grown children and grandmother of three precious grandchildren. We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our fourth grandchild, third grandson, in September 2018.
I'm very excited to be entering a few pieces of my work this year in the General Finishes challenge!
