A customer of mine had the top half of a china hutch in her garage that was left from the previous home owner but always wanted to use it in her home. She found a seperate buffet that she wanted us to splice together to create, what I lovingly like to call, a Frankenstein China Hutch.
We sanded down both pieces, trimmed the top decorative piece off of the top for a more clean look and painted both pieces in General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint. I lightly distressed the piece and I added barnwood to the top of the buffet and the top of the existing shelves. Really meshed both pieces together!
