This very drab chest of drawers was a bit of a challenge but after some repairs, chalk paint, stenciling and Copper leaf, she has a very vivid, new life!
The main color is a custom mix of Aubusson and Florence. Then we did a wash of Antibes and later, a dry brushing of Antibes.
The stenciled Aztec pattern was done in various colors of acrylic paints. Each color was faded into the next.
Because Turquoise and Copper combos are so hot right now, we decided to update the existing pulls by covering them with Copper Leaf.
Staged with original artwork of an Indian Princess, a red accent chair, cowhide rug and a beaded,leather fringe vest, this little boho chic chest would compliment any Southwest home that commands bold colors!
