This TV cabinet from Target needed a lot of love-I mean a whole lotta love.
I used Modern Masters iron paint and Rust Activator to paint the top. I cut strips of anaglypta for the sides and painted them with Modern Masters copper paint as well as General Finishes Persian Blue milk paint. I then used MM iron paint and MM green and blue patinas and Rust activator to bring out the details in the anaglypta. I painted the doors with MM Iron paint. I then used a Royal Designs stencil and Artisan Enhancements Pearl Plaster, tinted with Annie Sloan Florence Chalk Paint, to create the design. I then used MM Rust Activator to create a "flowy" rusted look. And of course, I changed out the hardware with beautiful, wood, turquoise knobs.
I painted all the wood trim with Annie Sloan Country Grey. The entire project was sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat Satin.
Now this plain TV cabinet doubles as a piece of art!
