General Finishes

This was my first piece I painted a few years ago.  It was an old dresser that belonged to my husband as a kid that sat in the basement of our previous house for years and had been through at least 12 flooded basements.  When we moved to our new home there was a large open space in the foyer that was perfect for this dresser.  I gave her a good scrubbing and sanding.  Applied a few coats of Valspar paint in a cream color and valspar chalkboard paint to the mirror.  The piece was then sealed with General Finishes Top Coat.  This is now the first thing you see when you come into our home and it gets decorated for every holiday or season.
