She’s curvy, exotic, bold and a touch of fake....errrrr, I mean faux.
The base is painted with General Finishes Antique White. I used Van Dyke Glaze on the carved areas and re-stained the interior with General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain. The top was decoupaged to resemble stone....faux stone! Layered pieces of contractors paper with torn edges created the look. General Finishes Sanding Sealer created a hard finish with depth. I finished the entire piece with General Finishes Flat HPTC.
I created this table as a custom piece. The woman who bought it owns a granite and stone countertop business. How thrilled was I when she said she loved the faux stone too? VERY!
