I painted this antique vanity with thoughts of my grandmother . As a child my cousin and I spent many nights with her. We would stay up late her telling us stories about when she was a child. She always had something cooking in the kitchen from apple turn overs to teacakes to the best biscuits in the south. This piece takes me back to Grandmaws House
