This rather blan, French Provential bed was rescued from a resale shop and given a complete transformation.
We used General Finishes milk paints, “Little Pink” and “Antique White”. The pink paint is a custom mix of Antique White and Little Pink. The appliqués on the head and foot boards are made with paper clay using Iron Orchid Designs molds.
To add a touch of sparkle and complete the Old World look, we applied gold leaf to the appliqués and then dry brushed the pink paint over them. The entire piece was sealed with GF HP satin topcoat.
Staged with French dolls, can you think of any little girl that hasn’t dreamed of a bed like this?!!
