As a little girl I loved creating. I would use whatever was at hand to create. Drawing, wrapping gifts, sewing my own clothes. I am a sponge for learning, taking fine art, decorative art classes and interior design. One of my favorites was a historical restoration seminar using faux finishes. I worked as a display artist in a local Utah design store. I had a small business where I used my talents to leave a fingerprint of my love of design in over 40 homes.

This Project was inspired by my love of French Toile Fabrics. I chose to dress up the chairs by gluing wood applique of scroll work to the tops of the chairs.
The table top was transformed using plaster and fabric to create texture, depth and imperfections, a hallmark of the French. These pieces were painted a custom color of warm white.
