This vintage desk had served out its life as a desk and was ready to be reincarnated with a new purpose! After applying new tops and trim I stained all exposed wood in GF Java gel stain. These elegant night stands were painted in GF French Linen. I then drybrushed Antiqued Gold accents to add to the beauty of them! The drawers have been lined with suede. This set was then sealed with GF High Performance Topcoat to ensure many years of lasting durability.

This little nightstand was begging for a renew. Light and dark pink colors pair perfectly with a fun print curtain. Complete with comphy fluffy pillow to make a perfect little palace for your pup. One drawer to keep leashes, toys etc. A fun project that brightened up the space.

This dresser was in baaaad shape, so we reconstructed the middle, taking old tongue & groove flooring to make shelves. We used Java Gel Stain on the planks, & painted the body in Antique White, dirtying up with Van Dyke Glaze Effects. It is sealed with High Performance Satin. 

This sweet Chest began its life as one half of a Waterfall Vanity. It was separated from its better half years ago. I say "better" because I'm asssuming the other half and three good working drawers. This one was missing a drawer. Not a problem! 

I began by painting a base coat of teal. I sealed the teal. I then randomly painted the variety of Pearl Effects colors all over the chest. As I feed a color I misted it. When everything was dry I sealed the chest. Lastlly, I placed an oval copper tray filled with succulents in the drawer cubby. 

This old dresser was abandoned as junk - but it was solid wood and just needed a new purpose to really make it shine! After a good sanding, the top was cut to become the seat, a few frame pieces were added to support the beadboard backing, and new hardware and seam molding were added to finish it off. Painted in a classic Linen Milk Paint with an Antique Walnut Gel Stained top, this gorgeous storage bench is living a new life of farmhouse bliss!

These radial cut heart Pine boards came from a 100year old house... they had some old teal blue paint that my wife loved... living in a log home, you find that most off the shelf furnishings just seem out of place, so here's my wife's medicine/essential oils cabinet...

the carcass and door are old Heart Pine, scraps of poplar and walnut were hand inletted as we're the hinges... some small magnets were epoxied in to keep it closed....

amber dye stain gave some depth to the old wood and a some danish oil sealed in the color...

This cute coffee table started out as a White sewing machine cabinet.  The sewing machine and base were already gone when I picked it up at a garage sale.  We added legs, strengthened the inside opening and painted in GF Persian Blue, Van Dyke Brown glaze, Java Gel Stain, and GF topcoat in Satin.  A one of a kind piece!

Total repurposed vintage stereo cabinet transformed & modernized into a classic bar cabinet. The top is newly stained with Java Gel and body is painted in Queenstown Gray.  Vintage knobs on the doors open to a wine rack & glass holders. The top opens to reveal extra storage. A stately addition to any decor!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This bench had a previous life as a bed frame and a tiger wood dining table.  When I bought the head and foot board it was terribly painted (looked semi spray painted) in a cream color.  The head and foot board were deconstructed and put back together to make the base of bench. I touched up the paint with Old Fashioned Milk Paint in the color of Light Cream because I didn't want the finish to be too perfect. A little sanding was done in places where there was too much paint and perfecion.  Leaves from an old tigerwood table top were cut and used as the bench seat.

This circa 1940 Waterfall Vanity was missing too many parts to serve its original purpose. After repairing the tops & some of the sides I painted them in GF Basil Green milk paint. Updated the knobs & sealed with HPTC in Satin. 

This amazing hutch top was being thrown away because it lose it bottom, feet were added, new rustic shelves replaced the glass as well as barnwood recycled as the grand back

 Painted in a beautiful mix of coastal blue, Corinth  with a touch of lamp black. 

 

Here I took some old dining room chairs, removed the seat and added some weathered looking boards to create a bench.  Great indoor or outdoor. Chairs are painted with Persimmon Milk Paint and bench is a wash using Queenstown Gray.  All sealed with General Finishes Exterior 450

Tried our hand at a headboard bench. What a royal pain in the.... :) Guess it was worth it since it turned out super cute.

This antique coffee table was missing it's glass! So, I thought why not make it a bench! Benches are lovely additions to any room! I love Persian blue with a gray fabric! 

We tranformed old car jack stands into new modern seating!  This edgy 3 piece set offers an orginal new vibe, brought to life with the beautiful deepth of General Finishes Java Stain Gel.

I immediately fell in love with this Ball and Claw foot cabinet. I was really unsure what I was going to do with it at first. It previously was a small TV cabinet but I knew that It needed to be repurposed into something more fun and useful. It was the perfect size for a small child's armoire. A perfect place to hang baby clothes or fun costumes. I needed to add a back to the cabinet as well, and I painted strips in General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint and Persian Blue Milk Paint.

I decided to take this rusty milk can and turn it into a beautiful side table perfect for a country porch.  I sanded the rust down and spray painted it with rust-olium rust stopper. I painted the can using General Finishes antique white and added the milk farm transfer using liquitex and sealed it with Polyvine wax finish. I purchased a round slab of wood and sanded it smooth then painted it with General Finishes lamp black and sealed it with Polyvine wax finish.  I attached the wood to the milk can top by drilling holes in the metal top and into the wood.  

Refinished this little chest to use as a coffee bar in my home. Painted in antique white and the shiplap used on the wall was painted in snow white. 

I am totally obsessed with this antique radio-turned-storage cabinet... Hand-rubbed worn black finish using a wash of Lamp Black with Java stained legs and stunning designer paper-lined interior (on a new back) gives this piece a classic look with an on-trend feel. With the addition of two interior shelves, this perfectly sized piece can function almost anywhere; an entryway for odds and ends, a dining room for linens and serving-ware, a living room for books and movies, or an office to store paperwork and a printer.

An antique, wooden, not useful door has been repurposed and filled with colourful splashes of paint. The door was coloured in Snow White milk paint of General Finishes and it was splattered everywhere with Patina green, Coral Crush and Apricot yellow of General Finishes.

The lower part was decorated with a pair of resin mouldings which were painted in these shades aswell.

Green plastic plant pots were fitted in two apertures, whereby these were filled with beautiful flowers which can easily be changed with herbs and some vegetables. 

I was fortunate enough to be recommended to a wonderful family for a project to take  their beloved antique Cypress front door (that could no longer be used due to Hurricane/Impact Codes here in South Florida) and turn it into something new. The piece was in rough shape to say the least but after hearing the history on the Door, l agreed to take on the project. First things first, l began the task of sanding off many decades of stains and finish layers and got the door down to original wood. It was quite beautiful under all that reddish brown to faded gray and peeling gunk! 

This drawer came off a vanity from my grandmother's basement. All the girl's in the family through out the years had sat at this to get ready with makeup and hair.  My sweet uncle scribbled his name in the drawer when he was a little boy.  He passed away unexpectedly a few years back and this is a surprise gift for his wife.  She can set her tea here and read her morning paper and always know that her sweet Tom is watching over her from heaven. I sanded and painted with sample pots of Benjamin Moore and clear coated with 3 coats of GF High Performance in satin.

This French Provincial dresser was made for a client to use as a focal point in her living room. Wow! It certainly is a stand out with a mix of Halcyon and a hint of Coastal and Pearl Effects Burnished for the hardware. 

Although this outdated china cabinet was headed to the curb, my client saw potential.  The bottom was painted in GF Driftwood and the ugly shell wood appliqués were replaced with Fleur de lis.  A new Weathered wood stained routed top was added and voila! The bottom piece is now a functioning media stand!  As far as the top piece was concerned, I removed the scroll woodwork on top, replaced that with unfinished interlocking beadboard, and painted the entire piece in GF Seagull Grey with slight distressing.  I didn't stop there though!

We took an old broken down Antique Armoire and transformed it into our favorite reNEWed piece thus far. The bones were there, along with the original coat hooks, drawer and drop down cabine,  it just needed a little vision and work to make it into something special. The exterior was painted with General Finishes Millstone. Glazing & distressing was added to give a worn patina look. To add a little more character to the Nook we added reclaimed barnwood to the back.  A new hanging wire pedant was added and custom pad and pillow too!

 

This bench is fitting for the Queen of the house! It has been repurposed from an antique bedframe and professionally built by a master craftsman. The gorgeous details were kept intact and on full display, highlighted by a beautiful Old White finish, High Performancw Top Coat for protection and a bit of dark wax to highlight details. Bench has been finished all around including back, allowing for use anywhere in the home.

I sanded a cable spool table then painted it in Queenstown Gray and white wash wood stain both products of General Finishes.  with a damp rag blending in colors. I then dry brushed to highlight areas. I applied a French transfer to the top and then sealed it in high performance top coat. I cut the foot out for storage in center of the table. I added another transfer to the door as well. I then used Flat out Flat and then High performance to seal it with. I added rollers to the bottom for easy movement of the table. She's now ready for tea time.

My son works on a ranch and brought home some old corral panels for me to have fun with.  This one was used to make a wonderful shelf to display my favorite photography memories. I srubbed, bleached, scrubbed and scrubbed some more, let them dry and then coated it in Howard's Feed and Wax, buffed it out, let it dry and clear coated with 3 coats of GF High Performance in Satin. The brackets are from Hobby Lobby.

This wave front wash stand was made modern with a vessel sink and slimline faucet. It was painted with Snow White milk paint and stained with Java on top. 

When ever I purchase something, I usually have an immediate vision for it.  I started in one direction for this beautiful trunk, but ended here.  This trunk came from an auction where it sat in the attic an abandoned home here in Delaware for 20 years.  I cleaned and decoupaged the inside with vintage road maps.  The wood strips on the trunk were beautiful, but the outside canvas was really worn.  I used my very favorite go-to black paint, General Finishes Lamp Black.  I applied a heavy wash because I wanted to cover it, but still leave somethings opaque.  I then applied my signature style

We purchased a few beautiful Antique pieces from an estate sale. The Antique bed had once belonged to the sellers grandparents and she had no use for it, in its current state. Fast forward a few weeks later when I ran into the woman we originally purchased the bed from. She asked "have you done anything with the bed yet?" I crinched and showed her the transformation we had done on her Grandparents bed. She started tearing up as well as I, she said " I have to purchase this"  She had no use for her Grandparents Antique bed but a bench....

Packing Company laughed at me when I told them that I want to ship this damaged cabinet from US to Poland..I love him from the first view and I exactly knew what I will turn him to! I saw the potential for beautiful sink vanity for my Farmhouse Style Bathroom. I used GF Stain Blocker for entire Cabinet to prevent bleeding trough  and to protect wood from water splashes. I finished body of the cabinet  with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Coco and Country Grey. White wash, dry brushing chipping and distressing techniques were used to achieve this look.

The last couple years my brother, my sister-in-law and my nieces have been facing one challenge after another. Coming out  successfully from one only to be hit with another. My SIL has always loved country chic so when she started talking about redoing their kitchen, I offered to make them an island.   I wanted to give them a little sunshine on the dark periods they were experiencing.

This bathroom towel holder was once a drawer from my grandmother's vanity.  I repurposed all the drawers and gave one to all the girl's in the family to each have one.  From night stands, to end tables and towel holders; they made great gifts with many memories of grandma.  Painted in GF Queenstown Gray Milk Paint and clear coated in GF High Performance in satin. The dust didn't keep my vision from coming alive. Countless hours were put in by my husband to transform the bones of this antique piano into what would become the most beautiful piano bar. My oldest child who loves music and art was even motivated to help. 

I took over once all of the woodworking and staining was completed by my husband . I chose General Finishes Antique Walnut stain, Driftwood Milkpaint, Van Dyke Glaze and HP Topcoat. 

 

This 36x72 Farm Table features a reclaimed lumber table top. The lumber was brought out of a historical building in Georgetown, TX built in 1855 originally used as the local horse and buggy barn. The table top features random length, rough longleaf pine boards that are 1 1/2 inches thick. The top was stained with General Finish's Gel Antique Walnut. We applied a slip coat of General Finish's High Performance Gloss top coat before using General Finish's Winter White Glaze to bring out the rough character in the wood.

This industrial cable spool had been sitting outside at a local salvage shop for months.  It was sad and uninspiring.  After I purchased it, I gave it a quick sanding and sealed all of the gorgeous color of the wood with General Finishes' Exterior 450.  My goal was to turn it into an outdoor table, so I wanted to make sure it would hold up to the elements.  Exterior 450 not only provided superior protection but it made the color of the wood deepen and turn richer than it had been previously.

I have wanted to create a kitchen island from a desk for quite some time... I just needed the right client to believe in my vision!

Enter my repeat client Carla, a vintage desk and 8 ft of an old weathered table top... and the fun began!

This project didn't come with "plans", I had to make them up as I went along. It was challenging and exciting all at the same time.

 Construction was a huge part of this transformation but choosing the right color, finish and hardware to fit my client's home and style made this custom project one of my all time favorites!

This pre 1930 drafting table belonged to my dad and has been in family for 40 years and just sitting in my rafters collecting sawdust. I enjoy chopping old things up (repurpuse) and making them useful again so this what I did. I stripped in down with stripper then tore into it with 80 grit (the top was pretty beat up) then went up to 220 before adding the general finish gel stain. Tackling the height and to continue to make it functional took some time and reworking some existing parts but it came out to 21 inches high  and is still fully functional.

We took this old china cabinet and repurposed it to be a children's armoire perfect for a nursery! We removed the doors, removed a shelf and added a hanging bar. The outside is painted in Snow White milk paint and distressed while the inside was given a pop of color of a custom mixed blue! 

This once Chifforobe has been repurposed into a one-of-a kind Buffet/Bar.  The exterior shows it's base in GF Seagull Gray.  SALTWASH has been added for texture.  The door and side panels are covered in raised wallpaper and painted a darker shade of gray.  I then hand painted the metallic silver on the raised portion of the walllpaper.  Very proper and pretty.  The inside and exterior sides of the drawers are Turquoise adding a beautiful touch of color.  This was also applied to the inside of the Chifferobe.

We wanted to replace the old pedestal sink in our very small powder room but had limited  space for a cabinet with a vessel sink.  Being a long time upcycler, I found a perfectly sized  vintage music cabinet for this project.  I removed the back of the cabinet and center drawer. Two holes were drilled through the top for the drain and faucet.   I painted the cabinet in General  Finishes Milk Paint in Linen.  After distressing, I applied General Finishes Van Dyke Glaze.   A stencil was applied to the door using Rub-N-Bufd Wax Finish in Antique Gold.

Vintage beauty meets modern functionality in this record player converted bar cabinet! The cabinet is designed for 5 bottles of your finest, plus 12 glasses, a drawer for smaller items along with shelves. Pretty much designed for happy hour waiting to happen. When happy hour is over, the beautifully carved detailed doors can be closed, concealing the fun that was had.

The top, inside and legs were stained using General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain.  Antique White Milk Paint was used for the outside.

Such a shabby dresser with amazing bones. Someone loved it to death and I knew I needed to bring it back to life!  What more could I do than turn it into a whimsical bench.  Threw out some drawers, cut off the top, and rebuilt it from the bottom up!  Painted it in a gorgeous shade of deep turquoise, added GF Van Dyke Brown Glaze to make the details pop and finished up with a few layers of GF High Performance top coat!  LOVE!

We found this mahogany hutch that was no longer with its base and thought this would make a great bookshelf or media center. We added some bun feet to it and painted it using Snow White milk paint. We distressed around the edges and details and lets just say this piece was hard to let go of! 

This table was purchased from an old farmhouse, where it had seen better days.  One leg had been chewed up by and animal, but I knew I could do something fun with this 3 legged old girl.  I cut all the legs down from waist height to coffee table height.  The top was badly stained, so in came dark chocolate milk paint to the rescue.  Top was sealed with High Performance topcoat in satin.  Legs were painted with a custom mixed Annie Sloan Chalk paint color, sealed with AS black wax.  Foam board was cut to fit back wall of cubbyhole, foam was covered in vintage reproduction fabric in French wo

When we found this Antique buffet, we knew it was the perfect piece for our Hamper Transformation. Before any painting was done, I enlisted the help of my carpenter who customized the drawers and doors to accomodate built in hampers. We then painted the outer body of the buffet in General Finishes Lamp Black. A layering of paints were used to achieve the look on the drawer and door areas. New cup pulls were added to finish off this one of a kind piece. 

I couldn't wait to update this tired China cabinet into a farmhouse buffet. When picking up this piece my husband asked who is going to want this big dark piece???? After finishing it, I had a hard time letting it go. The outside was painted in GF Seagull Gray & the inside painted in GF Antique White. Doors now have black sprayed chicken wire & new cup pulls were added. A layering of waxes was then applied to finish off this one of a kind piece. 

Handpainted in AS Graphite, Multi-Layered in personal sedimented colorwash with sanding in AS Coco, Revive Rustic (homemade shade), Revive Chocolate pudding (homemade), sanded to blend, added Sherwin Williams pitch black, some Minwax dark roast, General Finishes Persian Blue, and Finished in General Finishes High Performance Satin. Painted hardware with rustoleum rubbed oil bronze topped off with modern master silver. . added efex applique

This is a magnificant and dramatic transformation. This piece is more then just a piece of furniture . Its family, its love. I hope I did more then just finish it. I hope i brought it back to life, brought happiness back into it. I feel like I did just that!!♡♡ Shes sweet, shes strong, shes all and more! 

Two vintage 1950's headboards were repurposed  to create this unique bench. Painted in General Finishes antique white milk paint and glazed in GF van dyke brown glaze effects. Sealed in GF high performance top coat in satin.

This 26 1/2 foot long project was installed in the breakroom of a global spirits manufacturer.  75 year old retired barrels were broken down and the pieces were pressure washed to prepare them for finishing.  Two coats of GF Clear Poly in Satin covered the backs of the barrel staves and three coats on the front brought 75 years’ worth of life and history back out of the tired old pieces.  The full pieces were basket weaved and the small segments of staves were cobblestone pieced like a puzzle on to panels.

I love visiting my local wood recycling shop and when I saw this old door I immediately saw what I could do with it. I love the way the wood was damaged and battered and wanted to accentuate that.  I used GF Antique Cherry Wood Stain after sanding it lightly. I then rubbed a candle all over and painted a custom mix of GF Patina Green, GF Coastal Blue and GF Halcyon Blue here and there adding accents of GF Snow White and GF Holiday Red.  I then scraped the candle wax off and sanded again. 

I found a beautifully shaped lamp at Goodwill, nevertheless the painted design was less than desirable.  I noticed a few silver platters in the next aisle and an idea sparked.  I knew I had to turn these eyesores into a trio of striking candle holders.  To begin the project, it is necessary clean all materials thoroughly.  You must cut the cord from the base of the lamp and unscrew the rod that feeds the wiring to the lamp mechanism.  Next using E6000 industrial strength adhesive, adhere the lamp base to the lamp.  Add more E6000 to the top of the lamp and adhere to the silver platter.

When we found out we were going to be first time grand parents , my mind was racing with excitement and ooohhh I cant wait to do the nursery furniture ! I knew what my vision was , it was just finding the right piece. I found an old dry sink with drawers and a hutch , solid wood and in great shape . Luckily my daughter in law loved it as much as I , and she could invision it as a changing table as well, and dresser for years to come. August 2017 baby , your room is ready 

She wanted to keep it gender neutral so we went with a soft green and the Java Gel for durability. 

Old vintage telephone table reworked as a Lego station. Hole cut in the top table part for basket o to drop in to store  odd Lego pieces and deep drawer ideal for all other Lego bits. Lego build pad fixed to the base part and surrounded by beading, Lego on knobs etc. Very modern revamp for a  old dated  piece of furniture 

I sent my husband and son to pick this up on the way to the hospital on the night my first (and only thus far) granddaughter was born. When I first saw it, I thought what in the world did I just buy? This unloved and forgotten card catalog looked pitiful and was missing several drawers.  Someone had put horrible knobs that didn't fit well and left it in a disgraceful state of being. When I came down from my new nana status and looked at it from a creative perspective, I got my vision. This was actually one of my first repurposing projects.

I found the perfect dresser for my project.  I was searching forever for the perfect size and this dresser fit the bill.  I took the dresser and turned it into my new coffee bar.  It was on castors which was very convenient for my kitchen.  I took the bottom drawer out and made a shelf instead to hold some baskets.  I painted the base in Nantucket Green Chalk Style Paint which matched my backsplash in the most perfect way.  The top I sanded down and decided to keep it natural.  I added a shellac topcoat which brightened the wood and gave it a beautiful shine.

This piece was originally the top part of a chest-on-chest chest-of-drawers. When unloading the piece, it fell off the dollie and the bottom part smashed to smithereens. I was able to salvage the bottom legs/platform and attach it to the top part of the chest, creating this very versatile piece. It can be a dresser, server, buffet, entertainment cabinet, foyer statement piece, basically anything you want it to be. It was painted with Bayberry Chalk-Style Paint, lightly distressed, glazed with Van Dyke Brown, and top coated with High Performance Topcoat in Satin.

This piece was salvaged from a vintage church that was being demolishe.Rel not sure what it's use was but  when someone was looking for a vintage jewelry display I could see what she could be!! Cleaned and new lighting was added under the shelves. Painted in Sherwin Williams Dover White with Webster's Chalk Paint Powder additive. Lightly distressed and topcoated with General Finishes High Performance satin top coat. Reupholstered in black fabric with plenty of hangers and hooks to display all the bling.

Needless to say she is the ultimate jewelry display❤

 

This housed a old broken record player or turntable with cupboard for LP records underneath. The cabinet had beautifull detailing and was in sound condition so I stripped out the stereo/ electrical system and Upcycled it into a lovely little cupboard in quite strong funky colours 

This beautifully hand carved, antique, oak, 1800s headboard was given to me from a dear friend that was going to throw it away because it had gotten wet and parts of it had warped.  I did not initally have a vision for it, but if someone is wiling to give me free furniture, I am all in.  I started by cutting the legs off then removing all the warped parts.  It was a lot of frustrating work and I brought all the arm strong tools to the yard!  My husband wanted me to quit, but I am a stubborn lass.  I painted it with Lamp Black (my favorite) and decided to use some fabric I had picked up (wel

An antique door and end table put together to make a beautiful hall tree! 

This little bed makes a big statement! Upcycled corral panels from a cattle ranch in ND were used for the side rails and footboard.  The headboard was an old door tucked away from an abandoned  farmstead in ND.  An old weathered cedar post from our local lumber yard was used for the chunky legs. They all came together into this solid full size bed that  creates the perfect piece in this cowboy retreat.  

Bought a pine 3ft bed at a charity shop but it was broken along the base with some struts missing, rather than use as a bed I had the idea to make a bed bench as the wood was good, the side rails were ideal for supports across the front and the head and footboard ideal for the back and sides, I added ball finials and painted it with GF MIlk paint in Seagull Grey, added carved hearts etc, very solid sturdy piece, I've made a few now and my customers love them, easier to make and source than church pews which are not easy to find in the UK

We repuposed this desk into a kitchen island.  First we stripped the top of the orginal paint, we then sanded it down to a  nice smooth finish, and then started with Java gel, after several coats to achieve the depth of color we wanted we then finished with several coats of stain poly.  We then painted base with antique white and sealed with poly.  WE added a bottom shelf for storage that was stained with a dark walnut, we then added large casters wheels .  It fits perfect into our farmhouse. we have given new life to an old piece.

This once Vintage Lane side table has been repurposed into a very sturdy foot stool weighing in at 19lbs !! I started with GF Linen paint then applied clear wax & highlighted areas with dark wax.    

Upon encountering life’s milestone of downsizing to a smaller home, we departed our spacious abode and moved into a 70’s era ranch-style house. The living room became our dining room, and our first challenge to living in smaller quarters began. The nearby opening to the hallway afforded guests an easy view of the other rooms in the house. We needed a way to screen the hallway from view.

This drawer turned dog bed is one of a kind. Hand cut into a headboard with added feet (made from wooden christmas ornaments) and of course a new paint job. Dark and light grays bring out the wood pattern and a little adornment for details!

Hi there friends! We found a few of these French doors on the side of the road....thought we'd come up with something useful for them! We painted this door with General Finishes Antique White, added some vintage hooks and up-cycled her into a hall / foyer wall mounting picture framing, back pack / coat rack! We hope you love!!

An antique child size rocker and rusty crusty wings are the foundation of this great garden rocker. The wings are created by a dear friend. I added Pearl metallic patina, sealed them and attached them to the rocker. 

The rocker is painted a base coat of antique white. I watered down Emerald Green to create a wash. I wet distressed and then sealed the entire piece. 

This Vontage Martha Washington Sewing Cabinet was repurposed into an adorable porch planter for a customer! 

These were originally a vanity. They now serve as two sweet little side tables! These have been my favorite pair so far!

I wanted to repurpose a cabinet door from an antique hutch...I cleaned it up, painted the frame with General Finishes Lamp black, and distressed. For the glass I decided to do a antique faux pattern design mirror. 

 

I first misted with a water vinager mix. Then layed a stencil down. I sprayed Mirror effects spray paint in stenciled area heavily. Waited till dry, and repositioned in other areas doing a lighter spray of mirror effects. I then lightly blotted the water vinager. 

Hi there Friends! A client dropped this off at out door one day...he's a truck driver and was heading back to Chicago from Cali, he spotted this beauty on the side of the road and thought of us! She was missing a drawer so we simply took the other one out...finished the inside with masonite and started painting! She's hand painted in General Finishes Lamp Black and Linen milk paints, she's distressed then sealed with High Performance Top Coat in a Flat finish! Her hardware was left in it's original state! We hope you love!

Mirrored hutch top.

You guys... I had this old warped headboard sitting in my "junk" pile at the studio. Nearby, a few old coffee table legs sat, begging for a new purpose. I took one look at these discarded items and it hit me - I didn't have to throw these pieces away just because everyone else had said they were junk. 

Repurposed door turned cute farmhouse bench. Painted in Antique White with a good distress and HPTC Satin. Perfect in an entryway!

Everything you see is completely door! The panels were cut down and Kreg Jigged together to give this bench a sturdy finish.

We took this old headboard and turned it into an awesome bench for our clients! Once we constructed everything it was time to finish it. The piece was painted in antique white milk paint and some distressing was done to accent the beautiful details. We stained the seat in Antique Walnut Gel Stain which provided the perfect contrast to the white. 

When I first layed eyes on her in a resale shop I knew she was going home with me! I sanded her down painted the top gf Lamp Black then lightened her up from a cherry wood on bottom with a custom mix of layers of graghite , country grey and white. Distressed and poly in between layers to shabby her up! Black glaze then white again on outer layer. 3 layers GFHP. Love this product! New rustic handles to give a little aged look. My claw foot tub I used the gf lamp black on feet and I layered her in 2 different turquoise a custom blend with white and black glaze few layers of GFHP.

Converted an old Antique Vanity into two Side Tables. Once completed, applied General Finishes waterbase stain blocker primer to prevent bleed thru. Finished in Sheepskin color by Folkart mixed in Benjamin Moore. Tops were stripped and stained in Teak Moorish stain by Zar. All sealed with a matte topcoat for added protection by Rustoleum.

You would never know this was once the top of a vintage china cabinet.  Legs were added to the bottom and beautiful old barn wood (sealed) added to the back and used as shelves.  Painted with General Finishes Driftwood and Seagull Gray to complement the colors of the barn wood.

We redesigned this 9 drawer dresser into a fully functional vanity and have modified the top drawers to keep them functional as well. The top of the dresser needed to be stripped down to reveal the beautiful cherry wood grain. I used sandpaper starting with 80 grit and worked up to 180 grit. After using tackcloth to remove dust, I applied General Finishes water based stain in antique cherry followed by General Finishes HPTC in satin finish. We cut the holes for the sinks  and then mounted the faucets to the sink before attaching the sink to the dresser top with clear silicone.

Hey there Friends! So we'd had a few solid core doors...and thought we'd get our creative energies going...we knew we had clients that were on the hunt for creative cocktail tables...so we created our Door Table....this beauty is 42 inches wide and 18 inches tall...she's been hand painted in GF Dark Chocolate, distressed then sealed with GF High Performance Top Coat in a Satin finish for a durable and beautiful finish! We hope you love!

My Wife and I were out "Hunting" (part of our name) for furniture one evening and ran across a couple of really cool chairs! The backs of the chairs were not in great shape but the legs were awesome! We took the backs off the chairs, placed an older door from a salvaged entertainment center and using L brackets and adhesive attached the two for a cool new Chable! Chair / Table! She's been hand painted in Antique White and Dark Chocolate, then distressed. We've sealed her in a High Performance Top Coat for a durable and beautiful finish! We hope you love!
