This is a hand-painted MacKenzie-Childs Inspired Toilet Seat.
The General Finishes milk paints have superior adhesion & produce a stunning look when used with a crackle product. The harlequin design was carefully measured & taped off for the lamp black & antique white design. I artistically handpainted the roses using gf holiday red, gf antique white and gf chocolate along with several other vivid colors. I used the raw umber glaze effects & the black glaze effects to add more aging & character.
To seal in the artwork, I use Satin High Performance topcoat. It provides the perfect sheen to enhance the colors. I finish this unique piece with hand-set swarovski crystals in the center of each flower.
