When this poor rocking chair came to me, it was dressed in torn, dirty fabric and a complicated network of ropes to support the seat. The wood frame was worn, dry, and discolored. After giving it a good cleaning and stripping off the old finish, I brought new life back to the wood with just one coat of General Finishes Gel Stain in Candlelite, and sealed with polyurethane. It was my first experience with GF Gel Stain, and I couldn't believe the rich color it brought back to the wood! I've been a believer ever since :)
