This painting by Renoir is just so sublime. The colours just draw you in to the painting and you can almost feel the warmth of the day. This bureau was extremely 'tired' when I bought it, transferred the image with Artisan Enhancements Transfer Gel, painted inside and out and added a faux leather writing pad on the inside. Used artist acrylics to work on the image and make it more my own. Not just functional but a piece of art.
