Summer goals: a cute cottage dresser and a stack of books to read! This antique, five drawer, solid oak dresser is ready has been lightened up and is ready for Summer! The body was hand sanded with 180 grit paper and painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The drawers were sanded with an orbital sander using 120 grit, followed by 220 grit and finally wire brushed to open the grain for the silky white wax finish. The original hardware and key hole inserts were cleaned with vinegar and water and buffed slightly with triple zero steel wool, leaving most of the patina.
