This was an accidental pleasure to be honest, using a paintbrush or anything that required a small grip wasn’t an option so I decided to play and go back to my preschool teaching days and do some sponge painting. The piece was primed in bin primer and mouldings added to the legs and back, then 2 coats of driftwood were applied with a sponge, I then dabbed on paint alternating with linen, millstone and driftwood using the same sponge and a spray bottle of water to keep the sponge wet. Sealed with flat high performance topcoat and the seat covered in a cream crushed velvet.
