This cute vintage dry sink needed some love and attention. Most importantly it needed something to make it stand out. Textured paintable wallpaper was added to the sides, door fronts and to the center of its one drawer.
The entire piece was painted in Fusion Mineral paint in Little Lamb and a wash of Ash was used on the top and wallpapered areas. The raised texture was dry brushed using their metallic paint in Brushed Steel. Parts of the raised textured then were coated in DecoArt metallicLustre in Silver Spark to add extra shine.
The original hardware was kept but coated in Rub n Buff in Ebony and pewter.
Now it’s definitely no longer a plain Jane and would make a great coffee bar or Entryway piece!
