General Finishes

The moment I saw this set I fell in love from the beauty to the details of each piece. I knew right away what color(s) I was going to paint them without hesitation. I wanted to stain the tops of each piece in a dark wood color Java Gel and the body a grey custom color, keeping them fairly simple. I couldn’t just keep them so bare, so I added Oyster Pearl in the middle of the drawers and sides of the dresser blending it with the grey using my spray bottle of water. I love this technique! My next step was to really bring out those beautiful details, so I used an antique glaze to get into every crevice of the pieces and as you can see they really stand out. Im truly in love with the end result of these pieces!
