This antique linen cabinet was very plain to start with but I was determined to go all out on her new look. I started with fully stripping and sanding it, then fully primed it all over. I created a custom blend to make this classical light grey colour and painted the whole exterior . The interior was given a stain using Antique oak. I then used Efex bendable mouldings to create a border on each door front, and also added wing mouldings back to back on the balcony top. Following this, I added a stencil to each door inside the new border, using GF burnished pearl. I also used burnished pearl along edges and raised areas, and along all mouldings. A new closure was added on the doors, and this lovely antique cabinet was ready for her new life.
