I had a complete plan in mind for this piece which included adding mouldings etc. However the piece itself spoke out with a definite NO, she is a strong independant lady and was having no truck with frills and flounces. I had to reimagine the plan and I am so glad I did!
The main body is painted in General Finishes Klein Blue.
The sides in GF Antique White, followed by extensive stencilling in Klein Blue.
The top was stained in GF Walnut water based stain.
All topped off with GF high performance top coat in Gloss.
